|Lowest thing of the day
) is the lowest and most wrong thing i've heard today.
Johnson & Johnson is suing the Red Cross because they believe the charity's fundraising measures are encroaching on its commerical activies and thus wants all the profit made by the charity from their fundraising measures.
That's pretty bad. Can anyone better it?

|i'm back! (and need a job)
thought i may as well at least try to keep in touch with the LJ world for a while, but no promises.
Got back from Germany last night, and today i've tried to be constructive. So far i've tidied my room and done some washing.
Now i'm desperatly looking for a job. so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated!!!

| Labour Deputy Leadership Question Time
Thursday evening was a most interesting one. I though Joe Cruddas came out of it rather well, as did Hazel Blears. Harriet Harman looked like a complete twat to me, desperate to be the centre of attention at all times and generally being a dick. Same went for Dimbleby actually, desperate to impose himself rather than allowing the discussion to be central.
i didn't think proper issues were well enough addressed, too many broad, stupid and easily avoided questions.
i wanted to ask gritty questions about proper issues, not going on about Iraq, speed cameras, the differences between being 'in power' and 'in office'
i've definately decided the order of the candidates now though, and it is as follows:

|Britain's got talent
just found out that i missed Viking on Britain's Got Talent, bollocks.
Oh well, i look forward to seeing ol' Queenie joining Viking's considerable pool of submissive talent

why is being home crap?
even computer games are no good fun
i'm no more than vaguely interested in The Hunt For Middle England on BBC4, which i'm sure is very interesting.
It's everywhere, it seems to me. though it seems less prevalent than i used to think. The Daily Mail lot do seem to encompass it, bloody daily mail lot. grrr
|A bloody good Meta; night out
Anyone ever had a night out?
Well, there's a bloody good one on the 17th of March. A night of good metal and the cheap consumption of beer will occur at The London Stone opposite Cannon Street station.
also, i'll be DJ-ing, so come support me!
and bring everyone else

...and i feel rough. my gosh!
i drank a fair amount, but not eating before hand has buggered me! (too)
i didn't even get layed! that at least would help on the fact that i feel awful. all i have is Viking metal in the shape of TYR (thanks Glenn, these lot are amazing).

i gotta say i prefer their nicer, more melodic stuff, such as this (Benighted). Not too keen on the screaming death vocals.
Anyone know any other good melodic chilled metal bands out there of a simular ilk?
i've got some dream Theatre, some of it's ok. don't really like his voice, its abit too high and gay for me. This is abit omre folky too.
Also, Ders (Eastenders) is fucking awful. Terrible and, i find, boring entertainment. Great, lets have a huge pointless row where we keep just jumping down each others throats for no reason. I know that what happens when people row, but why watch it on ty? Especially when they're crap actors and ugly as sin? SONIA?! my gosh, there's a minger. (Sociologist mode)What terrible role models for anyone who watches.
i can't sleep
got my arse kicked by glenn at the old chess earlier. i'm really crap and need some improvement. I'll take him at Go though! Got some good metal off him so it's ok
Football Manager is taking over my life. maybe someone will give me money to sit in a darkened room and play computer games for much of my life. good chance?
|Friday, January 5th, 2007|
...are taking over my life again.
can't quite deal with doing anything else yet. Not even really bothered about playing, just something to do eh?
some sleep tonight would be nice
cricket. We suck. It's a mental thing. We're negative, they're positive. We're 5-0 down, no real surprise

This band is really cool. Heard about them from wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphonic_metal
Confide In Me is my favourite, closely followed by Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned.
Couldn't sleep again last night. it was gone 5 when i finally went, only to be up about 8/9.
How's everyone else today?
|Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007|
well, 2006 is over. 2007 is underway. It seems to be completely arbitrary, this whole year thing.
Well, 2006 was pretty shit and largely disappointing.
so far in 2007 i have bought some nice books. Today i got A Dictionary of World History. which is nice

Can anyone tell me, is Celtic Frost a tune by Therion, or is Therion a track by Celtic Frost? I have both on my computer so it's difficult to tell
